Fans may have to wait until next year as “America’s Got Talent” is over. The “America’s Got Talent” final four were a daunting group, packed with talent. Fighting Gravity, a spectacular dance group, was the sole final act that wasn’t a vocalist, in contrast to Michael Grimm, Prince Poppycock, and Jackie Evancho. Lionel Ritchie, Jewel, and Donna Summer had amazing invitee performances. Many people favored Evancho to triumph, as the 10 year old with titanic pipes was often compared with Susan Boyle. Michael Grimm stole the win, and few expected him to get the winning votes.
Ending a thing to look at
The “America’s Got Talent” season five finale was set to be an epic contest. The final competitive stage, though, took place two days before it. That is when the contestants put on the last performance for points for the season. Michael Grimm would be at home in any of this sort of shows. The singer/songwriter type with a blues tinge is always a hot commodity if the person in question is good. Prince Poppycock sings pop songs in an operatic fashion, fusing Lady Gaga, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and Kiss with the makeup and elaborate classical era costumes. Finally, there was Jackie Evancho, the pint size singer with a Godzilla size voice. Then there was Fighting Gravity, an unbelievably good dance group was the only non-singer act.
Grimm mood during the last episode
The results get revealed on a retrospective and special performance episode, just like “American Idol.”. Prince Poppycock got buzzed on, as outlined by CBS, by Piers Morgan. In fairness, Prince Poppycock has one act but has different songs. Operatic ballads get old after so long, despite the belief that Jackie Evancho is only 10 years old. Variety is the spice of life, and Michael Grimm reaped the benefits of that in his winning “America’s Got Talent.” Singers win this program, as only one of the five winners has not been a singer. Purchasing a home for his grandparents is what Grimm has in mind for the winnings, as outlined by People.
Guests steal the program
Just about everyone paired with a great entertainer for the last episode performance. Poppycock performed with Donna Summer, Lionel Ritchie sang “Dancing on the Ceiling” for Fighting Gravity and Grimm performed a duet with Jewel, singing “Me and Bobby McGee.” This season wrapped up well.
