Actress Jennifer Freeman accused of assaulting spouse Earl Watson

Actress Jennifer Freeman, from “My Wife and Kids,” is accused of assaulting her NBA star husband, Earl Watson. According to legal papers filed last week by Watson, Jennifer allegedly attacked Watson because he was curious about a suspicious text Jennifer had received close to midnight. Watson had also filed for divorce after the incident, seeking full custody of their 10-month-old daughter.

The fight between Earl Watson and Jennifer Freeman

As outlined by court documents, Jennifer Freeman had received a text message at around 11 p.m. Aug. 1, which moved a suspicious Earl Watson to check into her phone, says TMZ. Watson said that Jennifer, who was upset at the fact he took the phone, began to hit him “twice in the face with her right open hand.” He claimed she then grabbed and bit into his right wrist, “breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood.” After sinking her teeth in the wrist, Jennifer allegedly proceeded to chomp down on his chest, drawing blood yet again. But it didn’t stop there. Watson claims Jennifer even tried to attack him with an iron, but he was able to knock the object out of her hand before she could cause any more harm.

Jennifer Freeman, now 24, is well known for her role as Claire Kyle within the television sitcom “My Wife and Kids.”

Are Earl and Jennifer back together?

Earl Watson, who played for the Indiana Pacers last season, appeared to have changed his mind about handing divorce papers over to his beautiful wife. On Thursday, Watson reportedly decided to withdraw his divorce petition. According to the gossip news site, the two are reconciling with “plans to make their marriage work.”

Earl Watson and Jennifer Freeman were married May 17, 2009, at TV producer Ed Weinberger’s California mansion in Los Angeles. Their first and only child, Isabella Amour Watson, was born last year on Oct. 16.
